    What happens if I need more than 100 domains?

    We move your hosting to a VPS server. This has no limits on domains and designed for scalability with full control.

    How does DirectAdmin compare to cPanel?

    The short answer is that it compares very favorable in most aspects. DirectAdmin https://www.directadmin.com/ is an extremely flexible, stable and fast hosting panel running on Linux. It is not as well supported as cPanel, but then again nothing isā€¦ It is much better priced with an unlimited license option.

    What is the Linux Build and Web Server software that will be running my website?
    Linux OS 7 with Apache 2.x
    What version of PHP do you support.
    This is a moving target, we support PHP7.4 at the time of writing but our servers provide backward compatibility from 5.6 upwards.
    What do YOU backup?
    We backup all client hosting spaces in the hosting panel.
    We also backup the full server weekly.
    The above is to restore data from an administrative level.
    Can I upgrade shared hosting to VPS (Dedicated hosting)?

    They are two different products, so no. You may however seamlessly migrate data between DirectAdmin panels (which include all websites, databases and emails). We backup all client hosting spaces in the hosting panel daily.

    This is a very simple procedure with no downtime on email or websites.

    What is WHMCS?

    WHMCS is a commercially licensed, automated web-hosting, domain management and billing system used for provisioning hosting and registering domains.

    What mail software do you support?
    Exim Mail Transfer Agent with Dovecot IMAP/POP3 server. SpamAssassin for spam protection. RoundCube Web Interface.
    What is MariaDB and what is the difference between this and MySQL?
    MariaDB is database software. MariaDB is an improved version of MySQL. There are many white papers that list the key differences, but in short MariaDB is faster, handles more connections and is open source.
    You do daily backups of all data. How do I restore this?
    You are able to backup and restore your own data in the DA panel. If you need data to be restored from an administrative level you will need to log a call for us to restore your data.
    Do I get full control of the hosting?

    No. You may set your own limits within your reseller hosting space such as number of emails and amount of diskspace for each client. Shared limits apply to shared hosting. I.e. the limit for PHP upload max size might be set at 128Mb for the whole server. You may not change this. Full control are available in the VPS reseller products.

    Does my clients have access to Softaculous and SitePad builder?

    Yes, full unlimited access to both Softaculous and SitePad website builder.
